Development / Local Apps
Local apps: your own software, running inside Bitrix24.
In short
Custom Bitrix24 local apps: embedded tabs, widgets, placements, OAuth token handling, importers, log viewers, dashboards, and admin tools built for your portal.
When webhooks and automation rules run out of road — you need UI inside the portal, granular OAuth scopes, event subscriptions at app level, or tooling your admins can click rather than scripts a developer runs — the answer is a Bitrix24 local app.
Tech Titan designs and builds local apps end to end: OAuth token lifecycle, placements (deal tabs, CRM widgets, menu items), backend services, and the embedded UI itself. Private to your portal, owned by you.
What local apps make possible
- Embedded tabs on lead/deal/SPA cards showing external data (ERP stock, payment status, documents)
- Custom admin tools: importers with validation, duplicate managers, integration log viewers
- App-level event subscriptions (event.bind with OAuth) that survive user changes
- Granular scopes instead of a webhook's broad standing access
- Widgets and placements that put actions where users work
How we build them
A local app is a real web application: we build the backend (token refresh, API client with batching and retries, storage) and the frontend (embedded views using the placement SDK), deploy to your infrastructure or ours, and register the app in your portal. You receive source code, deployment docs, and an architecture note.
When a requirement is simpler than it looks, we will say so — plenty of 'we need an app' requests are solved with an SPA plus automation rules at a fraction of the cost.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a local app and a marketplace app?
A local app is registered privately in your portal for your use; a marketplace app is distributed publicly through Bitrix24.market with a review process. Internal tooling is almost always a local app.
When do I need a local app instead of a webhook?
When you need embedded UI, per-user context, granular scopes, or app-level event subscriptions. For pure server-to-server data flows you control, a webhook is simpler. See our webhook vs OAuth guide.
Where does the app run?
On your hosting (VPS, cloud) or infrastructure we manage for you. Bitrix24 cloud does not host your app code; it calls out to it.
